The Australian Evaluation Society will take all reasonable steps to provide the safest possible environment for our delegates, supporters, exhibitors, staff and contractors. We will be guided by the government health and safety measures and will work closely with the venue and all suppliers to plan and implement as safe a conference as is possible.
Government restrictions and guidelines will evolve over time in the lead up to the conference and will be communicated on the website. Closer to the time of the conference, and in response to current guidelines, participants will be sent COVID safety compliance information with details on measures undertaken. All delegates will be bound by these guidelines.
COVID-19 safety measures at BCEC
All delegates must adhere to the covid-safe measures in place at Brisbane Convention Centre during the conference. Read about the latest covid-safe measures on the BCEC website.
Face masks
The AES asks all delegates to consider their own and other delegates' safety. Consider wearing a fitted face mask if you are unable to social distance within the conference venue. If you don’t chose to wear a mask we ask that you respect those delegates who do.
If you are unwell
The health and safety of conference attendees is our highest priority. The Australian Evaluation Society is mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. The Australian Evaluation Society requests that any delegate who is feeling unwell consider not attending the conference. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for our policy.
